Ms. Teresa and Ms. Faiths'  3rd 4th and 5th Graders

 

Each Sunday, Teresa Wilbanks and Faith Jelly lead our upper elementray students through an exploration of the Bible, and how we can serve God.

 

This fall, these students will be helping the homeless by making lunches for the Urban Ministries Center.  As part of this learning, there will be a special sleepover at the church, where the kids will bring their sleeping bags and sleep outside in sleeping boxes, to get a elementary understanding of homelessness.

 

In addition, the students will be assisting Seniors in the church with yard cleanup this fall.

 

At St. Andrews, our kids are taught that serving others is a life long mission, and that no one is too young to serve.
