A church – any church –is supposed to be the living, breathing, active embodiment of Jesus Christ, the “Body of Christ.”

 

This is what the Bible says we are to be and what we at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church are striving to be.

 

• Through our worship services we enable people to encounter God in a deep and personal way.

 

• Through our Sunday School, small groups, and abundant learning opportunities, we learn the stories of our mothers and fathers in the faith and why they are important for us.

 

• Through mission opportunities: across the street in partnering with Montclaire Elementary School or repairing homes and lives in Charlotte or Pittsburgh or supporting missionaries around the world, we become the hands and feet and voice of Jesus loving unconditionally, healing, and serving; revealing the love of God.

 

• Through our small group and large group gatherings for children and teenagers and adults, we experience the support and care and nurture of Christ that cannot be found any other place except the church.
