Welcome
God is Good All the Time . . . .
Thank you for your support!
"God is good, all the time and all the time God is Good!
And how good it is that this is our statement of hope and promise when times are good and when times are . . . not so good! I can claim that God is good when all is right with the world, in the welcome of a new family member, a new employment opportunity, a medical test that offers healing. But I also cling to the hope and promise when a family member is lost, when an opportunity falls through or a medical test reveals trials to come. God’s goodness and faithfulness is constant, and his steadfast love endures forever.
Wesley’s admonition to Give, we do so with God’s goodness as the foundation for our response. We do not Give to avoid punishment. We do not Give out of obligation. We do not Give as we choose. We do not Give so others will offer us praise. We Give in response to the one who has Given us everything. As Paul wrote, the point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
