ADULT DISCIPLESHIP
Discipleship is a vital part of every Christian's journey. Though each journey is personal; we can learn, grow, and find encouragement for our faith in community. Discipleship groups give us an opportunity to grow in our faith, to grow in our relationship with God, to increase our understanding of scripture, to find accountability, and to be surrounded in support and encouragement through the trials and tribulations of life. At St. Andrew's, our goal is to LOVE, TEACH, and SERVE. Mature discipleship leans into all three of these core values. Sunday Morning Discipleship Opportunities: We have a variety of opportunities for all ages at 11:11 am on Sunday mornings. Many of our Sunday morning discipleship groups do book studies together, giving folks many opportunities to join the class long term or just for a particular book. For information on what each of our Sunday morning discipleship groups are studying and what group may fit best for you, please contact Sherry Jackson at [email protected]. Mid-Week Discipleship Opportunities: There are many opportunities to be involved in mid-week discipleship groups. You will find opportunities to get involved in United Methodist Women's circles, ongoing evening small groups/studies, small groups focused on specific topics (life transitions, parenting, etc.), short-term studies, and mid-day studies/groups. There are also opportunities to start your own small group as well! To learn more about and how to get plugged into discipleship opportunities, please send an email to our staff at [email protected]. |
