A powerful after-school intensive program serving families who face challenges and seek to provide greater opportunities for their children, Project Harmony provides free instruments, ensemble music training, and homework help to Charlotte area students. Together with our project partner, Arts+, the CSO serves more than 200 students in four Charlotte community-based sites in the Montclaire, West Sugar Creek, West Boulevard, and Winterfield neighborhoods.

Dahlia Grove seeks to employ, empower, inspire and encourage the women of our program as they regain their independence and freedom. Dahlia Grove provides premium-quality catering services, handmade giftware and event planning to provide job training and employment for survivors.

Since July 2012, Learning Help Centers of Charlotte has provided scholastic, spiritual and social support to families mired in generational poverty. LHCC engages at-risk families through weekly tutoring, summer camps for children and through family enrichment events. We also mentor and provide crises interventions for parents. We strive to educate and empower parents and children to become future community leaders. We are committed to supporting underserved families by offering quality programs that are shown to transform lives, by helping to break generational poverty. Our goal is to encourage the next generation of marginalized children to stay in school and become role models & leaders in their homes and in society. Volunteers are needed. Park Sharon Athletic Association is very excited about our youth athletic association! Our goal is to encourage youth to become more active and make new friends! There is a place for all youth in athletic programs even if they do not participate in a school sports program! PSAA has approximately 1,000 current family members with over 10,000 Alumni! We offer a variety of youth athletic programs and such activities include: girl's and boy's basketball, cheerleading, and baseball. PSAA represents a broad range of ages from 4 through 17 years. ALL of our programs are well-organized and well coached. Our facilities are among the finest in the city, our membership is friendly and supportive and, most importantly, we encourage good sportsmanship, fair play, and fun! It assists families and individuals in crisis with help for utilities, rent, and basic living expenses. Donations to this fund are welcomed and encouraged. One may donate through the Sunday offering, or mailed to the church to the attention of the Financial Secretary. Please make checks payable to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and designate it in the memo to "Helping Hands Fund". Thank you for your support.

Camp Tekoa is a summer camp and conference center located in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina, near Hendersonville. Tekoa is owned and operated by the Western NC Conference of the United Methodist Church. Tekoa offers a wide variety of summer resident and day camps for boys and girls. These include elementary day camp, and resident camps for elementary, middle school and high school students. Tekoa also offers Adventure Camps for middle and high school students.
