Many Gifts, One Spirit

There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. 5 There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 NLT
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen. 1 Peter 4:10, 11b NLT
As you complete the spiritual gifts survey and consider the spiritual gifts identified, the following is a list of some suggested ways in which those gifts might be used.  Please note this list is not exhaustive.  It is a way of encouraging you to think about ways in which you might engage, learn, grow and serve. Exercising our gifts well benefits both us and our community. Need more information? Reach out to pastoral, staff and lay leadership for ways to connect.
You are then invited to
1)       Name one gift and ministry in which you are actively involved that you wish to continue to serve and in which you may even feel that you could disciple/teach others.
2)      Name one gift and ministry that you are learning or want to learn for which you need additional resources, e.g., mentoring, training, practice?
3)      Name one gift and ministry that completely surprises you. Could God be calling you to be an evangelist? A prophet? To hospitality? To mercy or helps?  Remember Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  We welcome hearing about these God winks and look forward to charting a path forward.
