Rev. Norma VillagranaRev. Norma Villagrana has served as Senior Pastor of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church since her appointment in July 2025. With more than 20 years of pastoral ministry experience, she brings a deep commitment to spiritual formation, thoughtful worship planning, and building strong congregational relationships.
Prior to her appointment, she served as Chair of the Western North Carolina Conference Order of Elders and as a member of the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry. She is passionate about fostering meaningful connections through small groups, prayer gatherings, and community engagement, while encouraging the church to grow in faith and service. Rev. Villagrana and her husband, Rev. Hugo Villagrana, are both ordained United Methodist pastors and share a calling to ministry. 
Patti HussPatti Huss serves as the Graphic Artist at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, bringing creativity, dedication, and a deep commitment to the life of our church. She creates the weekly bulletin, helps keep our newsletter current, and uses her gifts to share the stories, ministries, and opportunities of St. Andrew's with our congregation and community.
Patti is truly an institution at St. Andrew's, and we are grateful for the many years of care, creativity, and excellence she brings to everything she does. Her work helps connect us, inform us, and celebrate the many ways God is moving through our church. |
Sherry JacksonSherry Jackson serves as Director of St. Andrew's Preschool and is an ordained Deacon in the Western North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church. With a passion for nurturing young minds and creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning, Sherry brings faith, compassion, and dedication to the children and families she serves.
Through her leadership, Sherry helps create a welcoming and enriching environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Her love for teaching, commitment to ministry, and care for the St. Andrew's community are evident in the many ways she supports children, families, and the mission of our church. 
Alice GlefkeAlice Glefke serves as Financial Secretary at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, providing faithful stewardship and careful attention to the financial life of our congregation. Through her work, Alice helps ensure that contributions are accurately recorded, financial information is maintained, and the resources entrusted to St. Andrew's are handled with care and integrity.
With dedication and a commitment to serving the church, Alice plays an important role behind the scenes in supporting the ministries and mission of St. Andrew's. Her attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to serve are a blessing to our staff and congregation. 
Jon LakemanJon Lakeman is the Director of Youth Ministry (grades 6-12) for Saint Andrew’s, Sedgefield, SouthPark, and Woodlawn Community Fellowship. Jon brings a deep passion for ministry with young people, along with a strong background in faith formation and Christian education. Jon holds a degree in Religious Studies from Lenoir-Rhyne University and is pursuing ordination in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He has served at Lutheridge Camp and Conference Center and with the Middle School Youth Group at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Jon enjoys running, playing guitar, reading, Dungeons & Dragons, and Magic: The Gathering.

Music TomThomas Lyons ("Music Tom") has served as Director of Music and Worship Arts at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church since April 2025. Passionate about bringing people together through music, Tom believes that every voice and every gift has a place in worship. He leads the Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir, and other music ministries, drawing on a broad background in choral directing, handbells, worship planning, and sacred music.
Tom is committed to creating meaningful worship experiences that inspire faith, foster community, and invite participation. Whether you are an experienced musician or simply enjoy making music, you are warmly welcomed to join one of St. Andrew's music ensembles and share your gifts in worship. Gail ReynoldsGail Reynolds has served as Office Administrator at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church since February 2026. With a heart for service and a gift for organization, Gail helps provide the structure and support that keeps the daily life of our church moving forward.
From coordinating schedules and communications to helping ensure our building, ministries, and events operate smoothly, Gail is an essential part of the St. Andrew's team. Her attention to detail, welcoming spirit, and commitment to serving others help create a place where staff, members, and guests feel cared for and connected. |
